P.Sean Tales
Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed July 11, 2026 — pseantales.com
P.Sean Tales makes books for every kid, and this website is meant to work for every visitor — including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've built in
- Color pairs measured for WCAG AA contrast, in both light and dark mode.
- Full keyboard operability — including the clickable world map — with a visible focus indicator.
- A "skip to main content" link, proper landmarks, and labeled forms on every page.
- Meaningful alternative text on book covers and preview pages.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled when your device asks for less motion.
- Text that scales — no fixed-size text, no horizontal scrolling at 400% zoom.
How we check
The site is audited with four independent engines (axe-core, IBM Equal Access, HTML_CodeSniffer, and Lighthouse), most recently on July 11, 2026, plus manual keyboard testing. Issues found in audits are fixed as part of normal site work.
Known limitations
Our downloadable coloring pages are picture files by nature — they're line art meant for printing and coloring. Story text from the books is available in the book descriptions and previews on this site; if you need any content in another format, ask and we'll help.
Tell us if something's wrong
If any part of this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, please email updates@pseantales.com — a human reads every message, and accessibility reports go to the top of the pile.
